Hands That Rhyme

The Bowery Poetry Club hosts a very rare, maybe even unheard of (literally), open mic night every fourth Monday of the month.  There is no sound involved in this poetry as members of the ASL, American Sign Language, gather for their open poetry night.

Hands and bodies move to mimick life, tell stories, and create rhymes with repetitive motions.  It is a beautiful spectacle of art, one that must be seen in order to be fully appreciated.
