Mary Ellen Mark

Some times in order to believe it you have to see it.  Mary Ellen Mark has been using the art of photography to address issues like homelessness, drug addiction, and prostitution for over 50 years.  Her black and white photos can be found in Life magazine, Rolling Stone, The New Yorker, and Vanity Fair. The work Mary Ellen Mark produces are technically beautiful as much as they are creative.


seenbehindthescenesMary Ellen Mark’s latest project hit stores last month.  Seen Behind The Scenes, is a four decade compilation of pictures from movie sets.  The collection includes acting legends Marlon Brando, Meryl Streep, Jack Nicholson, and Brat Pitt in character, in make-up, taking direction, and goofing around.
